Arthur William ‘œBill’e Yount

Arthur William Yount, 85, of Farmington, Missouri died September 15, 2008 at Presbyterian Manor.

He was born February 21, 1923 in Marquand, a son of Harley and Alta Yount.

On August 25, 1983 he was united in marriage to Patricia at St. Peters.

Mr. Yount was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Hank Yount and Clint “Dutch” Yount; and one sister, Bess  Presnell.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Yount of Farmington; one son, Stanley “Skip” Yount of Lake St. Louis; two daughters, Barbara (Yount) Sanders of St. Peters and Mary (Yount) Jarrell of Town and Country; and two step-daughters, Katherine Britt and Geniece Hughes; and one sister, Dot Anderson at Belton, Kansas.

Mr. Yount had 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Mr. Yount was a member of Calvary Temple Church in Fredericktown.

Services were held September 17, 2008 at Calvary Temple Church. Burial was at Walker Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Joseph Gordick, Joseph Gibson, Will Yount, Michael Jarrell, Chris Jarrell and Jeff Jarrell.
