Lady Cards defeat Meramec in three
ST. LOUIS — The Mineral Area College volleyball swept three straight games at Meramec for a 25-20, 25-17, 29-27 conference victory on Tuesday night.
Bailey Stanley knocked down a team-high 11 kills, and Jessica Hill tallied seven kills with three blocks for MAC. Libero Chelsea Pinson brought up 46 digs, while Zorana Pilijeuici added 19 with four service aces.
The Lady Cardinals played without middle hitter Jasmine Houston due to a sprained ankle, and lost defensive specialist Kelsey Davault for a portion of the contest with a shoulder injury.
Mineral Area (28-9) could clinch its second straight 30-win season tonight in a home tri-match against Lindenwood.
