Optimist Club Tournament 2008 (Oct 25, 26)
The regular season ended this past Saturday. It was a very busy day with medals for each athlete. Sonic Drive In provided free ice cream cone coupons for our athletes. Tourney seedings went right down to the last games, but the reg. season is over and now it is time for the Optimist Club post-season tournament.
In this tourney teams battle for valuable tournament points, which can decide the tourney or at the very least what place you play your final game on Sunday for (1st , 3rd or 5th ). 1-2 grade and 3-4 grade will play two game, three team pool play on Sat and another final game on Sunday afternoon. 5-6 grade will play a round robin format with each team playing 2 games on both Sat. morning and Sun. afternoon.
