Hearing for hospital’s sublease

The Iron County Commission will hold a public hearing at 3 p.m. Dec. 8 regarding the proposed sublease of Iron County Hospital to Jefferson Memorial Hospital.

The sublease will be made between the district board and a limited liability company being formed by Jefferson Memorial Hospital Association.

The hospital opened two years ago. The district board will still remain as an advisory board but the JMH will manage the hospital.
