Accident injures Potosi woman

A Potosi woman was seriously injured Sunday when her 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt overturned in Washington County.

According to Missouri Highway Patrol reports, the accident occurred at 1:45 a.m. on Bore Road, .8 mile from Highway 8. Nancy M. Hartzell, 39, was southbound when she lost control of the vehicle and skidded off the right side of the road. The vehicle struck several trees and overturned.

Hartzell, who had been wearing a seat belt, was flown by air ambulance to St. John’s Hospital. Damage to the Cobalt was listed as total.
