Ruth Robinson

PARK HILLS — Ruth I. (Reeder) Robinson of Park Hills, Mo. passed away on January 24, 2009 at National Health Care of Desloge, Mo. She was born June 24, 1916 in Flat River, Mo. to Herman C. and Lizzie (Jones) Reeder. She was raised by her uncle and aunt, John and Allie Hughes, after the death of her mother.

She was a member of the Park Hills First Baptist Church for 79 years; A 72 year member of Farmington Rebekah Lodge 407 (Central Rebekah Lodge 204). She and husband, Travis E. Robinson, were owners of Robinson Drug Store in Park Hills for many years.

Preceding in death: Parents, Herman and Lizzie Reeder; Adoptive Parents, John and Allie Hughes; Husband, Travis E. Robinson (1973); Brother, Carl O. Reeder (2005).

Survivors: Daughter and Son-In-Law, Kaye and Gary Mahurin; One Brother, Cledith W. Reeder; Two Aunts, Irene Cooper and Hazel Reeder; One Uncle, Jesse Jones; Grandsons, Todd (Rita) Landolt, Douglas (Holly) Landolt, Gary (Robin) Mahurin, II; Seven Great Grandchildren; One Great-Great Granddaughter. Many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Visitation Monday, January 26, 2009 from 5-9 p.m. at C Z Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Services Tuesday at 1 p.m. at C Z Boyer & Son Chapel in Desloge with Rev. Stephen Brownfield. Interment at St. Francois Memorial Park.
