Accident injures Fredericktown woman
A Fredericktown resident received moderate injuries Thursday during a collision on Missouri 72 at the Fredericktown city limits in Madison County.
The accident occurred at 12:52 p.m., according to the Missouri Highway Patrol reports. Beverly M. McClure, 53, of Fredericktown, was southbound in a 1997 Chevrolet when she struck the rear of a southbound 2001 Ford driven by Fredericktown resident Kyla J. Sherrick, 22. Frieda M. McClure, 72, a passenger in the Chevrolet, was taken by ambulance to Madison Medical Center in Fredericktown. Frieda McClure was wearing a lap belt. No injuries were listed for Beverly McClure or Sherrick, both of whom had been wearing seat belts.
Damage to the Chevrolet was listed as moderate and damage to the Ford was listed as minor.
A Farmington man received minor injuries Thursday morning when two Dodge 2500 trucks collided on Route 00 north of Buesick Road in St. Francois County.
According to Highway Patrol reports, the accident occurred at 7:25 a.m. when an eastbound 1997 Dodge 2500 driven by Michael L. Kaufmann, 50, of Farmington, entered the northbound lane of Route 00 into the path of a northbound 1995 Dodge 2500, driven by Joseph B. Buxton, 32, of Farmington. The left front corner of Buxton’s truck struck the right front corner of Kaufmann’s truck. Buxton’s truck went off the right side of the road and overturned onto its side.
Buxton was taken by ambulance to Mineral Area Regional Medical Center in Farmington. No injuries were listed for Kaufmann. Both men had been wearing seat belts.
Damage to Buxton’s truck was listed as extensive. Damage to Kaufmann’s truck was listed as moderate.
An Annapolis man received moderate injuries Wednesday when his 1991 Chevrolet overturned in Iron County.
According to Missouri Highway Patrol reports, Jessie C. Lee, 22, was northbound on Missouri 49 at 11 p.m. when his vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway at Glover, struck a sign and overturned.
Lee, who had not been wearing a seat belt, was taken by private vehicle to Iron County Hospital. Damage to the Chevrolet was listed as total.
