Bertha Fraser

BONNE TERRE — Bertha L. (Evans) Fraser of Bonne Terre passed away February 6, 2009 at her residence at the age of 95 years. She was born April 6, 1913 in Bonne Terre to the late Claude and Katherine (Cramp) Evans. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ed Radle.

Bertha enjoyed collecting recipes, gardening and sewing.

She is survived by: Her husband Albert ‘Red’ Fraser of the home; her children, Susie (husband, Frederick ‘Fritz’) Gower of Bonne Terre and Edwin ‘Sonny’ (wife, Susan) Radle of Atlanta, Ga.; five grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren. Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, other relatives and dear friends also survive.

Visitation 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 10, 2009 in the Chapel of Peace at St. Francois Funeral Home with Chaplain Sandra Ledbetter officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Francois Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials to Safe Harbor Hospice appreciated. Family served by Shearin Funeral Home, Bonne Terre.
