Farmington Public Library undergoing renovation

Much needed renovation will soon begin at the Farmington Public Library.

New flooring and freshly painted colored walls will give the library a comfortable, updated look. Portions of the library will be relocated for more appropriate placement and ease of patron access.

Other work will be completed at the same time. Bathrooms will be renovated and made more accessible for persons with disabilities.

During the renovation it will be necessary to close sections of the library and temporarily move materials  and furnishings while work is being completed, making areas and materials inaccessible for a period of time. Every effort is being made to keep the library open, but it may be necessary to close the entire library for a period of time while major collections are moved and the areas renovated.

Dates of closing will be posted as soon as feasible so patrons can make arrangements.
