Marty Weiler
STE. GENEVIEVE — Marty Weiler, 42, passed away February 26, 2009 at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital. He was born June 30, 1966, in Perryville, Mo.
He was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 1037; Valle Athletic Club and Valle High School Girls Basketball Coach.
Preceded in death by Grandfathers, Martin Weiler and Leonard Brown.
Survived by Wife, Sandy L. (Flieg) Weiler; Son, Nolan Weiler of Ste. Genevieve; Daughter, Sydnie Weiler of Ste. Genevieve; Brother, Jason (Rachel) Weiler of Zell; Sisters, Pam (Jim) Meyer of Zell, Jenny (Byron) Siebert of Ste. Genevieve; Brothers-in-law, Mike Flieg, Jerry Flieg; Sister-in-law, Missy (Tom) Schilly; Father, Jerry “Hoot Owl” Weiler of Ste. Genevieve; Mother, Georgia (Brown) Weiler of Ste. Genevieve; Father-in-law, Don Flieg of Weingarten; Mother-in-law, Dianne Flieg of Weingarten; Grandmothers, Mercedes Weiler of Ste. Genevieve, Leatha Brown of Ste. Genevieve.
Visitation will be at Basler Funeral Home on Monday, March 2, 2009 from 4 to 8 p.m. Service will be held at Church of Ste. Genevieve on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at 10 a.m. The Clergy will be Msgr. Daniel Mosley. Burial will be at Valle Spring Cemetery, Ste. Genevieve. Donations can be made to the Valle Athletic Club for the Valle Expansion Project.
