VFW Student of the Month
The Farmington Elks Lodge #1765 is proud to announce that the Bismarck High School Student of the Month for February is Holly Blunt. Holly is the daughter of Dennis and Sheila Blunt. Her honors and awards include Athletic-Academic All-Conference, President’s Education Award, and Principal’s Honor Roll. Other organizations she has been involved in are Yearbook Editor 2008-09, National Honor Society, Pep Club, FCCLA, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Other activities include Church Youth Group, Upward Basketball Program, Referee Elementary Volleyball games, and planning and working the Mineral Area Turkey Trot. After graduation from high school, she plans to attend a four-year college and earn a degree in Psychology. As Student of the Month, Holly will receive a $100 savings bond and will compete for the Farmington Elks Bismarck Student of the Year to be awarded in May.
