Catherine L. Hager
BONNE TERRE — Catherine L. Hager, 88, of Bonne Terre passed away March 9, 2009 at St. Joe Manor in Bonne Terre. She was born October 17, 1920 in St. Francois County.
She was a member of Esther-Park Hills Methodist Church; 50 year member of Mineral Chapter OES 260; judge at the State Fair Flower Show; was very active in Garden Club; was a great lover of horticulture; Librarian of Flat River Public Library for a number of years.
Preceded in death by: Parents, David and Beulah (Vaughan) Morgan; husband, Perry Hager; son John Hager; and brother, Bill Morgan.
Survived by: Son, Dave Hager and wife Donna of Desloge; daughter-in-law Donna Hager of Seattle, Wash.; five grandchildren, Ed Hager and wife Mary of Seattle, Tim Hager and wife Julie of Michigan, Andy Hager and wife Heather of O’Fallon, Deena (Mrs. Johnny Reece) of Farmington, and Katie Hager of Desloge; eight great-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; sister, Aleene Morgan Norton of Kansas City.
Visitation Thursday, March 12, 2009 at 5 p.m. at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge.
There will be a private graveside service Friday, March 13, 2009 with Rev. James Molter officiating. Memorials may be made to HospiceCare, Inc.
