Wrong Way

Five people were injured in a four car crash on Karsch Boulevard early Tuesday afternoon. A Ste. Genevieve woman failed to stay in the westbound lanes and crossed the center turn lane and ran into oncoming traffic. Her car sideswiped the first oncoming car, then hit a second head-on. A fourth driver failed to get stopped in time and crashed into the rear of the eastbound car which had just been hit from the front. Three drivers and two passengers were taken to area emergency rooms for treatment. The fourth driver refused  any medical treatment.
