Hitchcocks Celebrate 60 Years

Richard and Beverly (Slater) Hitchcock celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. The event was held at the Tradition Inn in Farmington.

Many family and friends were there to celebrate with the happy couple. They were united in marriage on January 20, 1949, in Canton, Illinois. Mr. and Mrs. Hitchcock own and operate Hitchcock Salvage in Park Hills. They have shared 10 children over the years, Mike Hitchcock Sr. (Carolyn) of Lewistown, Ill., Arthur Hitchcock (Debbie) of Park Hills, Sue (Allen) Ford of Lewistown, Ill., Patrick Hitchcock, deceased, John Hitchcock (Donna) of Park Hills, Sarah Hitchcock of Desloge, Jeff Hitchcock (Dana) of Bryant, Ill., Peggy Thrasher of Park Hills, Jerry Hitchcock (Tina) of Farmington, Patty (Van) Schultz of Park Hills. The couple has 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
