Motorcycle accident injures man

A Wright City man was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident that occurred in Farmington Saturday afternoon.

According to Farmington Police, Jeffrey Schreck of Wright City was driving a motorcycle west on Columbia near Bray Road when Ladonna Underwood of Farmington pulled out to make a left turn in front of him. Schreck locked up his brakes on the motorcycle and it slid. He was ejected from the bike and landed in the middle of the street. His bike struck the front end of Underwood’s vehicle.

According to police, the man suffered a broken right leg and was air-lifted to a St. Louis area hospital for treatment.
