Arnold honored as Player of the Week

ST. LOUIS — Westminster College’s Justin Arnold, a freshman from Farmington, has been named the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Men’s Tennis Player of the Week for the week of March 23-29. The SLIAC is comprised of 11 colleges with seven participating in men’s tennis.

Arnold, a former Farmington High School tennis standout, is currently playing tennis as a freshman for Westminster College in Fulton Missouri a NCAA Div II college, and was awarded Player of the Week for his play last week while the team was in South Carolina.

Arnold went 3-0 at #6 Singles and 2-0 at #3 doubles in three matches last week. He recorded straight set singles wins in all three matches, and he and teammate David Berry posted an 8-0 victory over the College of Staten Island and an 8-2 victory over Centre College.
