Housing authority receives grant
The Ste. Genevieve Public Housing Authority is getting $62,000 in federal grant money to make improvement to apartment units on Robinwood Drive. More than 100 housing authorities in the state will share more than $29 million in federal grant money. The grant money is through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
The grant money in Ste. Genevieve will be used to replace all existing lighting in the units with fluorescent lights, replace all interior doors in the units and to replace all front exterior doors and screen doors.
