Herbert Daniel Peters
Herbert Daniel Peters, 84, of Perryville died March 29, 2009 at Perryville.
He was born October 20, 1925 at Charleston, Missouri, the son of Edmond and Mabel Peters.
On November 28, 1946 he was united in marriage to Leona at St. Louis.
Mr. Peters was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Daniel Peters; and one brother, Donald Peters.
He is survived by his wife, Leona Peters of Perryville; two daughters, Peggy Barnes of Perryville and Pamela Scott of Fredericktown; and one sister, Donetta Young of Perryville.
Mr. Peters had four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ferguson and enjoyed trains and antique cars.
Mr. Peters received an honorable discharge from the U.S. Navy.
Services were held March 31, 2009 at Follis and Sons Chapel with Brother Dennis Cebulok officiating.
Burial was held on April 1, 2009 at Marcus Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Troy Rauls, Andrew Huber, Kyle Hudson, DeWayne Roach, Mark Benson and Justin McClellan.
