Billy Johns

ST. CLAIR — Billy Gene Johns, 68, of St. Clair was born August 29, 1940 in Sikeston, to the late Jesse and Betty Johns. He departed this life in his home on April 22, 2009.

On June 2, 1958 he entered into the United States Army. He received his Honorable discharge in Gablingen, Germany on March 1, 1961.

Survived by: Wife, Ruth Johns; son, Billy Johns; step-children, Mel, Michael, Karen, Keith and Sue; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother Elmer Johns; sister, Gladys Johns.

Services,  Monday at 1 p.m. in the Jefferson Barracks V.A. Cemetery. Coplin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
