James Allen Brooks
James Allen Brooks, 62, (formerly of Belleview, Missouri) died May 2, 2009.
He was born December 5, 1946 is St. Louis, a son of the late Cletis “Pete” and Gladys Neff Brooks.
Mr. Brooks is survived by five children: Scott Brooks of Vero Beach, Florida, Anessa Fitch and Phillip Brooks of Fredericktown, and Ryan and Cory Brooks of Ironton; three brothers, Lonnie Brooks of Ironton, Jerry Brooks of Farmington, Missouri, and Larry Brooks of Belleview; seven grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Gina Dawn Brooks.
During the Vietnam war, he served his country in the United State Army.
Services were held May 4, 2009 under the direction of Bryson Funeral Home with the Reverend Paul Davis officiating. Burial was at Lower Indian Creek Cemetery.
