BONNE TERRE — Robert Leland Falder, 82, of Bonne Terre passed away May 11, 2009 at his residence. He was born April 16, 1927 at Chicago, IL.
He was very active in United Methodist Church; Scout Master with Boy Scouts; a Mason; Ruling Elder in Presbyterian Church in Wheeling, IL; Lions in Belgrade; Served in the Navy during part of WWII and Korean War; was very artistic – making jewelry, knives and wood carvings and furniture.
Preceded in death by Parents, Leland Earl and Bonnie (Carson) Falder; Three Half Sisters, Eleanor Tyree, Jean Lindquist, Margaret Espee
Survived by Wife, Lelia “Penny” (Grenia) Falder; Daughters, Dianne Lewandowski and husband Ron of Keller, TX, Gwynne Schnick and husband Roger of Anaheim, CA; Grandchildren, Katie, Amy, Kimberly; One Great Grandchild, Abigail.
Visitation Thursday, May 14, 2009, 5-7 p.m. at C Z Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Services Thursday, May 14, 2009, 7 p.m. at C Z Boyer & Son Chapel in Bonne Terre with Rev. Michael Kelpe. Private interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made to Safe Harbor Hospice.
