Helen Duncan

Helen Duncan, 85, a resident of Stockhoff Memorial Nursing Center in Fredericktown died May 16, 2009 at Stockhoff.

She was born December 27, 1923 at Baltimore, Maryland, the daughter of Peter and Josephine Kowalewski.

Mrs. Duncan was preceded in death by her first husband, George Brumett and her second husband, Roy Duncan. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Victoria Myers and Anna Dalton; one twin brother, John Kowalewski; and one granddaughter, Christi Post.

She is survived by two sons, George J. Brumett of Roundrock, Texas and Cecil D. Brumett of Fredericktown; one daughter, Delores Zak of Freeport, Texas; and one sister, Mary Poniatowski of Baltimore, Maryland.

Mrs. Duncan had seven grandchildren

Services were held May 18, 2009 at Follis and Sons Chapel with Pastor Clyde Bess Sr. Officiating. Burial was at Simmons Cemetery.
