Board approves installation of flags

The Ste. Genevieve Board of Aldermen has approved the installation of 12 blue flags bearing a fleur de lis on utility poles throughout the downtown area. The idea was brought to the board during a previous meeting in May by Frank Rolfe, the owner of a downtown business.

He asked the board to give him permission to place the flags and flag poles in the center position of flag holders used during Jour de Fete.
