Jesse Lewis Yow

Jesse Lewis Yow, 79, of Glen Allen, Missouri died peacefully at his home after a long illness on May 28, 2009.

He was born November 11, 1929 at Marquand, Missouri the son of Nathan C. and Mabel            (Finley) Yow.

On May 16, 1951 he was united in marriage to Linda Joy Yount at Marquand.

Mr. Yow was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Joy Yow of Marquand; two sons, Jesse L. “Jay” Yow of Livermore, California and M. Gene Yow of Wenatchee, Washington; one brother, N.C. “Buddy” Yow of Bridgeton, Missouri; and one sister, Ilene Hovis of Arnold, Missouri.

Mr.  Yow had seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way.

He was of the Christian Faith and a member of the Methodist Church.

Mr. Yow loved people, and enjoyed singing meetings at the church.

Services were held May 31, 2009 at Follis and Sons Chapel with Brother Bill Moss officiating.  Burial was at Marcus Memorial Park Cemetery in Fredericktown.

Pallbearers were: Charles Yow, Craig Yow, Nathan Yow, Randall Webb, Larry Gannon and Brad Yount.
