The perfect couch companion awaits

FARMINGTON — If you are looking for a kitten, look no further than the Farmington Pound. The pound has 12 kittens in need of homes. In addition several adult cats are also available.

The pound also has an assortment of dogs up for adoption. A 9-year-old female Dachshund is in need of a loving home. She is older and would make a great couch companion.

A female border collie is also up for adoption. She has the remnants of what appears to be an electric fence or a barking control collar around her neck. This one is very friendly and loves attention.

A male black lab mix is available that would make a great family pet. He would make a good outside or inside dog.

The pound also has a female hound mix that is running out of time. She loves people and is deserving of a good home.

The pound is trying to locate the owner of a female Yorkie that was recently picked up.
