James Laffey

ST. CHARLES — James J. Laffey of St. Charles passed away June 21, 2009.

Beloved husband of Debbie (Hartupee) Laffey, loving father of Brett Laffey, dearest son of Lois and the late Lawrence Laffey, brother of Mary Laffey Adams, Mike Laffey, Jane (John) Beckman, Sue (Kent) Roeklke, Steve (Mary) Laffey, son-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend.

Jim was employed in his family’s business, Laffey Equipment Company, over 20 years and was Brett’s biggest fan at all of his baseball, basketball, football, and soccer games.

Visitation Thursday, 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Styger Mid Rivers Funeral Home, 5987 Mid Rivers Mall Dr. Funeral Mass will be at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church (New Melle) Friday, June 26, at 10 a.m. Visitation at the church prior to the mass from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. Please meet at church. Interment Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery. Memorials to American Cancer Society preferred.
