Bobbie Ray Amelunke

Bobbie Ray Amelunke, 64, of Madison County died June 15, 2009 at Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

He was born July 2, 1944 at Carlton, Texas, a son of Alvin and Eunice Amelunke.

On November 23, 1963 he was united in marriage to Carolyn at Scott City, Missouri.

Mr. Amelunke was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Amelunke; and one son, Gregory Lyn Amelunke.

He is survived by his mother, Eunice Amelunke; his wife Carolyn Amelunke of Madison County; two sons, Devin Amelunke and Jeff Amelunke both of Fredericktown; three brothers, Charles Amelunke and Perry Amelunke both of Whitewater, Missouri and Earl Amelunke of Gordonville, Missouri; three sisters, Ruby Needham of Fredericktown, Nancy Hester of Jackson, Missouri and Kathy Bellew of Fredericktown.

Mr. Amelunke had five grandchildren.

He was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed farming, logging and camping.

Services were held June 18, 2009 at Follis and Sons Chapel with the Reverend Tom Johnson officiating. Burial was at Marcus Memorial Park Cemetery in Fredericktown.

Pallbearers were: Larry Guinn, Steve Boswell, Kenneth Lunsford, Randy Bellew, Wendell Moore and Kyle Bales.
