Catherine Reynolds

PEVELY — Catherine A. Reynolds, 84, Pevely, was born February 4th, 1925 in Potosi, Missouri, the daughter of the late Dr. J.L. and Katherine (Kelsey) Thurman, and departed this life Sunday June 14th, at St. Anthony’s Fern & Russell de Greeff Hospice House in St. Louis.

Catherine was in the retail and Ben Franklin Store business for many years in Potosi.  Catherine had a “green thumb” and always enjoyed gardening.  She also enjoyed her neighbors and was an avid supporter for animal rescue shelters.  Catherine was devoted to her family, especially her Great-Grandchildren.  Catherine will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those who remain to mourn her passing are her daughter Jeanne (Mike) Politte, Festus.  Grandchildren, Crista (Scott) Hanrahan, Arnold, Frank J. Ciliberto, Pevely, Jonese Ciliberto, Ann Arbor, MI. Great-Grandchildren, Kennedy, Kelsey, Kiley Arling, Arnold, and Antonio J. Ciliberto, Pevely. Her only sister, Mary Ruth Lenny St. Louis and a host of nieces, nephews, and relatives who will sadly miss her.

Memorial Services to be held in Potosi at St. James Church, Wednesday, July 8th, at 11:00 a.m.  The family requests that donations be sent in her name to The Humane Society of St. Louis, 1201 Macklind Ave. St. Louis, MO. 63110.
