Edna Shipman

BISMARCK — Edna Lee Shipman, of Bismarck, passed away June 23, 2009 at her home. She was born August 25, 1915 in Bear Creek, Akansas to the late Parter Jack and Arizonia Missouri Hensley. Also preceding her in death were five brothers, three sisters, four half-sisters, one half-brother. She is survived by two sons, J.N. Shipman and wife Anita of Bismarck, Edmund Shipman and wife Sondra of Bismarck. Four grandchildren; Jason Shipman and wife Kathy of Farmington, Jared Shipman and wife Suzannah of Bismarck, Derek Shipman of Bismarck, Ambur Evans and husband Daniel of Bismarck, Dawn and Tracy. Six grandchildren, Alisha, Andrew, Tatum, Torin, Bradley and Kyle. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends. Edna had requested a private family gathering for her services, so out of respect for her, there will be no public visitation. Memorials may be made to the Bismarck United Methodist Church. The Shipman Family would like the thank all the friends and neighbors for their friendship that contributed to her life.
