Brinkman to serve in Department of Energy

President Barack Obama has tapped  former Ste. Genevieve resident William F. Brinkman for Director of the Office of Science in the Department of Energy. Brinkman is a 1956 graduate of Valle High School.

Brinkman currently is employed by Princeton University as a senior research physicist in the physics department. He received his Ph.D. in physics from the University of Missouri.
