Storm siren, contract renewal among agenda items for Bonne Terre

BONNE TERRE — The Bonne Terre City Council will discuss purchasing a second storm siren and an encoder.

The council will have their regular monthly meeting at 6 p.m. Monday at City Hall, located at 118 North Allen. The meeting is open to the public.

The council will vote to approve a final pay request from Essex Contracting for the wastewater treatment plant project.

Also on the agenda, the council will vote on an ordinance to vacate streets and alleys in the McDermott-Wolf Subdivision and vote on a lot split request by Aaron McDowell on Raider Road.

The council will discuss a request from Michael’s Saloon and Grill to have their fifth annual poker run and bike show Aug. 22. The council will also vote on a contract renewal for audits by Thurman, Shinn and Company.
