Helen Manion
DESLOGE — Helen Manion, 97, of Desloge, formerly of Elvins passed away July 18, 2009 at N.H.C. Health Care. Helen Manion was born Nov. 19, 1911 at Rivermines.
Preceded in death by: Parents, Sebastian and Ida (Archambo) Sibole; Husband, Ole Ray Manion; son, John David Manion; sister, Ruby Scearce; brother, Vernon (Bud) Sibole.
She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Survived by: Children, Pat Bess and husband Don of Union; Michael Manion and wife Mary of Park Hills; James Manion of Park Hills; Marylyn Mecey and husband Lawrence of St. Charles; Judy Slater of Desloge; John Manion and wife Rhonda of Wappapello; Kevin Manion and wife Annette of Park Hills; 16 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; three sisters, Betty Iahn and husband Jack of Park Hills; Lucille Boyer of Webster Groves; Alene Hampton of Webster Groves.
Visitation was at the Horton-Wampler Funeral Home 4-8 p.m. Services for Helen Manion were 10 a.m. Monday at the Immaculate Conception Church with father Jim French officiating. Burial will be at the Catholic Cemetery in Park Hills. Memorials can be made to St. Vincent DePaul.
