Margardt “”Margie”” Plummer

Margardt “Margie” Plummer was born July 16, 1927 at Marquand, Missouri the daughter of Emil and Anna (Kemp) Sperling and died on July 11, 2009 at her residence in Fredericktown at the age of 81 years.

Margie was preceded in death by her father, Emil who died during Margie’s early childhood and mother Anna who died during child birth.

Her mother and father-in-law were Tom and Beulah Plummer. She also was preceded in death by her husband Tommy Plummer whom she married on December 22, 1944 at Ironton.

Margie is survived by her daughter Linda Sue Patterson of Washington, Missouri. She had one sister Jan Dalpaioz of Michigan and Florida, two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Margie worked for Brown Shoe Company for 42 years. She was a caregiver for many friends and family. Margie was always willing to help in any capacity. She was gentle, kind, accepting of all people from all walks of life, and always smiling.

She was a member of Second Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, reading, cooking, church friends and family.

Services were held July 15, 2009 at Follis and Sons Funeral Home with the Reverend Robert Don Wright officiating. Burial was at Marcus Memorial Park Cemetery in Fredericktown.
