Russell “”Scott”” King
Russell “Scott” King, 45, of Lebanon, Missouri died July 1, 2009 in Gonzales, Louisiana.
He was born November 21, 1963 in Bonne Terre, Missouri, the son of Howard Russell King and Nancy McGuire Hale.
On November 5, 1983 he was united in marriage to Carlene Zieger.
Mr. King was a driver for various trucking companies and enjoyed drag racing, baseball-especially the Cardinals and Bar-B-qing for large crowds.
Most of all he loved the time spent with family and friends and granddaughter Amy Marie.
He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1982 until he was honorably discharged in 1986.
Mr. King is survived by his wife, Carlene “Corky” King of Lebanon; his father, Howard Russell King and wife Brenda of Waynesville; his mother Nancy Hale and her husband Thomas of Fredericktown; one son, Russell Scott King II; two daughters, Amber King of Jefferson City and Amanda King of Lebanon; two brothers, Tommy Hale of Oklahoma and Doug Hale of Texas; four sisters, Michelle Parke of Waynesville, Dawn Burroughs of Lebanon, Tammy Mason of Bonne Terre and Gale Grindstaff of Farmington.
Mr. King had one granddaughter and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
Services were held July 7, 2009 at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon, Missouri with the Reverend Alvis Paul officiating.
