De Soto man seriously injured after vehicle overturns

A De Soto man was seriously injured Thursday night when his 1993 Ford Ranger overturned in St. Francois County.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, Paul W. Crane, 34, was eastbound on Rouggly Road at 8:15 p.m. when the vehicle traveled off the south side of the road. The Ford returned to the road, then overturned south of Route JJ.

Crane, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle. He was flown by air ambulance to St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur.

Damage to the vehicle was listed as total.
