Sam Gene ‘Sammy’ Robbins

BONNE TERRE — Sam Gene “Sammy” Robbins, 36, of Bonne Terre passed away August 21, 2009, at his residence. He was born January 7, 1973, at Farmington. Sam was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by: Grandfather, Leonard “Nook” Stegall; grandparents, Sam Huron and Ruby Robbins; and his favorite pet, “Lady.”

He is survived by: Parents, Faith (Stegall) and husband Dennis Bender; sister, Angela Howard; nephew, Corey Schibbelhut; grandmother, Mrs. Helen Stegall; step-grandparents, Dorothy and Victor Bender Jr.; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends also survive.

Visitation will be 4 p.m., Monday, August 24, 2009, at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 25, 2009, at C.Z. Boyer & Son Chapel, with Rev. Raymond Oge officiating. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Masses.
