Teri Dean and Joseph Kern of Bonne Terre are the parents of a son born August 5, 2009 at Parkland Health Center in Farmington. He weighed 7 pounds, 5 ounces and was named Grandin Honor Charles. Siblings are Nathan, Hali, Brian, Cayla, Summer, Luke and Maezee. Grandparents are James and Sue Benz of Kansas City, Kansas, Dennis and Joan Dean of Fenton, and Charles Kern. Great grandmother is Patsy Maxwell of St. Ann.
