Ride Your Bike to Church

Twenty bicycle riders and one child in a trailer participate in the Tour de New Heights also known as Ride Your Bike to Church on Aug. 30. The group rode on the west access road of U.S. 67. The purposes of the ride were to create awareness of the Tour of Missouri professional bicycle race coming through the Parkland on Sept. 9 and to encourage bicycling in the Parkland. The participants in the ride included the pastor of New Heights, Rocky Good, and 11 members of the Parkland Cyclists Bicycle Club. – Photos by Sheila Nash
