Electronic recycling

Global Tech Electronic will be hosting an electronic recycling event on Sept. 26 across the street from Sonic Drive-In in Desloge.

Most items will be recycled free of charge, including computers, laptops, mice, keyboards, printers, dvd/vcr players, appliances, lawn equipment and more. Almost anything that can be plugged into electric will be recycled.

There will be a $10 disposal fee on monitors, $20 disposal fee on televisions under 30 inches and $30 disposal fee on televisions over 30 inches.

Global Tech is trying to encourage the recycling of electronics to keep the landfills clean.
