Pioneer Days Schedule Includes Car Show

Marquand’s annual Pioneer Days will include their 7th Annual Car Show on Saturday, September 26, at the school grounds.

The event is sponsored each year by the Marquand-Zion Senior Class and includes car entry levels from 1900 and later. Among the categories for this year’s car show are original cars, steel street rods, glass street rods, street machines, Corvettes, Camaro and Firebird, Mustangs, original and modified trucks, project cards, tuners, and race cars. Special awards include Mayor’s Choice, People’s Choice, Best of Show, and Longest Distance. Trophies will be awarded to the top three entries in each category.

Registration begins at 8 a.m. And continues until noon with judging from 12 until 3 p.m. Awards will be presented at 3. Prizes will be given out throughout the day. A fee will accompany each entry. For additional information, contact Allison Boyer at
