Steve Jones
BONNE TERRE — Steven Wayne Jones, 54, of Bonne Terre, MO. passed away September 29, 2009. He was born May 14, 1955 in Desloge, MO.
Steve grew up in Desloge and graduated in 1973 from North County High School; he was an over the road truck driver for 30 years and was currently team driving with his wife, Sandy, for Emerson Transportation.
Preceded in death by Parents, Raymond D. and Betty (Weiss) Jones; Infant Brother, Roger Dale.
Survived by Wife, Sandy (Robbs) Jones of Bonne Terre; Daughters, Kim (Cary) Byrd of Old Hickory, TN, Melanie (Shannon) Kirn of Perryville, MO; Sons, Justin Ely of Desloge; Bryce McGuire of Bonne Terre; Joshua (Jyl) Jones of Mt. Juliet, TN; Grandchildren, Brylee Byrd, Libbie, Carter and Creed Geralds, Mariah, Rlylan and Cabren Kirn, and Nolan Jones; Brothers, Jim ‘Yogi’ (Barb) Jones, Larry (Kathy) Jones, Randy (Connie) Jones; Brothers-in-law, Greg Robbs, Rick Heinemann; Sister-in-law, Tracy (Wayne) Dowd; Also survived by uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Visitation Friday, October 2, 2009 at 4 p.m. at C Z Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Services Saturday, October 3, 2009 at 11 a.m. at C Z Boyer and Son Chapel with Rev. Jim Muse. Interment at St. Francois Memorial Park. Memorials may be given to St. Francois County Relay For Life.
