Taking to the skies
Youths ages 8-17 will have a chance to fly the friendly skies at the Young Eagles Flight Rally Saturday beginning at 8:45 a.m.
The event is hosted by the Experimental Aircraft Association at the Washington County airport and lasts until 2 p.m.
In addition to flying, volunteer EAA pilots will explain more about their airplanes and how pilots ensure safety before every flight. Static display aircraft, ultra light aircraft and aircraft construction exhibits will also be available.
