Bonne Terre meets

The Bonne Terre City Council will vote on sewer rates and discuss bids for several capital improvements purchases.

The meeting, which is open to the public, will be held at 6 p.m. Monday at City Hall.

The new fiscal year began Oct. 1. Bids are for police department weapons; police and water trucks; street department backhoe; and street department asphalt paver.

The council will also discuss a quote from Outdoor Warning Consulting LLC for the repair of the warning siren in the amount of $1,727. The council will discuss the shared cost with Bonne Terre Chamber of Commerce for candy cane decoration material.

Also during the meeting, they will discuss a reimbursement to the city for a lagoon; and moving a CD to the general fund.
