Two teens injured in accident
Two 14-year-old Farmington girls received minor injuries Tuesday when their 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier struck a tree in Ste. Genevieve County.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, Jamie L. Montgomery was southbound on Sprott Road at 5:30 p.m. when she failed to negotiate a curve to the left and struck a tree, .1 mile north of Dungan Drive.
She and passenger Taylor L. Hawkins were taken by private vehicle to Parkland Health Center. Neither had been wearing a seat belt. Damage to the vehicle was listed as extensive.
