Irma E. Turner
BONNE TERRE — Irma E. Turner, 85, of Bonne Terre passed away Sunday, October 18, 2009, at her residence. She was born July 19, 1924, at Monterey, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by: Husband, James Ray Turner; sons, Terry Turner, Lucky and Theodore Tedder in infancy; brother, Joe, Elmer and Delmon Stricklan; sisters, Della Bone and Etta Stricklan; great-grandchildren, Jeffrey Allan Tedder and Slugger Woods.
She is survived by: Son, Tommy Tedder Sr. (Alvena) of Bonne Terre; daughters, Melba Johnson of Caruthersville; Wanda Woods of Caruthersville, Brenda (Mrs. Gene) Owens of Bonne Terre, and Sherri (Mrs. Bobby) Richards of Doe Run; sister, Netta (Mrs. Utah) Chapman of Festus; brother, Charles “Chuck” Stricklan of Bismarck; sister-in-law, Judy Stricklan of Desloge; 18 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5 p.m., Tuesday, October 20, 2009, at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Services will be 12 p.m., Wednesday, October 21, 2009, at C.Z. Boyer & Son Chapel with Rev. Jim Merritt officiating. Interment at Caledonia Methodist Cemetery.
