Inmate dies
An inmate serving life for murder died at the prison in Bonne Terre.
James Walker, 78, died Friday night of apparent natural causes at the Eastern Reception Diagnostic and Correctional Center.
Walker was serving a life sentence without parole for first-degree murder from St. Louis. He was received into the Missouri Department of Corrections in June of 1987.
