Ilean G. Shell

Ilean G. Shell, 93, of Fredericktown died November 4, 2009 at ClaRu DeVille Nursing Center in Fredericktown.

She was born May 11, 1916, a daughter of Charley and Ella          (Sullivan) Storz.

On August 18, 1932 in Greenbrier, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Floyd A.W. Shell Sr. who preceded her in death on October 27, 1996. One daughter, Carolyn M. Shell also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Shell is survived by two sons, Ronald Shell and Floyd Shell Jr. both of Fredericktown; two daughters, Shirley Burch of Farmington and Norma Gene Stroup of Park Hills; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Shell was a homemaker and enjoyed working outdoors in her yard keeping up with her vegetable and flower gardens and cooking for her family.

She attended the United Methodist Church of Fredericktown.

Services were held November 8, 2009  at Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Lasley officiating. Burial was at Marcus Memorial Park Cemetery in Fredericktown.

Pallbearers were: William Shell, Robert Shell, Jonathan Shell, Joe Stroup Jr. Eric Burch and Shannon Burch.
