Myrtle A. McClanahand
Myrtle A. McClanahand, 85, of Fredericktown died November 5, 2009 at her home.
She was born May 9, 1924 in Madison County, Missouri, a daughter of Henry and Dora Parson.
On November 28, 1942 she was united in marriage to Jessie McClanahand in Madison County, Missouri.
Mrs. McClanahand was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Junie Baker; grandson, Trevor Connor; and two brothers, Bill Parson and Elmer Parson.
She is survived by three sons, Terry McClanahand of Perryville, Missouri, Jerry McClanahand of Fredericktown, and Jim McClanahand of Bismark, Missouri; three daughters, Mary Connor of Fredericktown, Delores Levy of Ste. Genevieve, Missouri and Joyce Sykes of Benld, Illinois; and one sister, Mae Tripp of Fredericktown.
Mrs. McClanahand had 23 grandchildren.
She was of the Baptist Faith.
Services were held November 7, 2009 at Follis and Sons Chapel with the Reverend Cecil Sheppard officiating. Burial was at the Sebastian Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Cody McClanahand, Chris McClanahand, David Connor, Roger Sykes, Billy Sykes and Jason Connor.
