Ernest Reuben Boyer
PARK HILLS — Ernest Reuben Boyer of Park Hills passed away November 14, 2009 at his residence at the age of 99 years. He was born February 5, 1910 in Bonne Terre to the late William and Ida (Easter) Boyer. Also preceded in death by his sons, Dennis Boyer and Delbert Boyer, and brothers and sisters, Ansel Boyer, Norval Boyer, Etta Reeves, Lovie Mayo, Lela Dixon and Verna Dixon.
He is survived by his son, Darrell (Delores) Boyer of Fritch, TX, daughters, Wanda (Sam) Cole of Bismarck, Bonnie (Homer) Herald and Patricia (Paul) Oder, both of Park Hills and Judith Sumpter of Desloge, 21 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 23 great great grandchildren. His sister-in-laws, Evelyn Boyer of Bonne Terre and Alma Boyer of Farmington, other relatives and dear friends also survive.
Family to receive friends 5-8 p.m. Monday, November 16, 2009 at Shearin Funeral Home, Bonne Terre. Services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at Shearin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ken Goff officiating. Interment will follow at Adams/Hillcrest Cemetery, Bonne Terre. Memorials to Parkview Free Will Baptist Church, Park Hills appreciated.
