Cherokee Pass Business Owners Continue Economic Improvement Efforts
Several Cherokee Pass business owners and some local residents met again on Thursday, December 3, 2009 to discuss forming an association to address issues with regard to the community’s sewer problems. They also continued discussions on making local businesses more visible and accessible from the new Highway 67.
(Currently three access points along the new Highway 67 provide access to the businesses on old highway 67. Although one road at the south end of the new highway is temporarily closed while road improvements continue).
Those in attendance at the meeting agreed to combine their efforts to resolve these community issues. The next meeting is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at Cherokee Pass Restaurant.
All members of the community are encouraged to attend.
